  • What if the dogs don't get along? We give them a time out or rest time until the dog is ready to be re-introduced to the play group. The dog will be under careful monitoring and close supervision.

    Do you feed the dogs? Unless the owner specifically requests feeding, no the the dogs are not fed.

    Do all the dogs play together or are they separated by size and temperment? We give considerable consideration as to plays together. Age, size and temperment all play a part of the process.

    How many people are supervising the daycare? It depends on the number of dogs we have for the day.

    What are the activities? Tug of war, tossing balls, running, chasing, catching Frisbees are some of the activities we provide at daycare.

    Are trainers available? A Dog's Day Playhouse has a trainer we call when we need assistance or advice. He is also available for individual dog taining.

    What should I expect? You can expect a calmer, more well mannered companion. He will be ready to relax with the family. He will be able to take a quite evening walk. He will sleep better.

    What do I have to do to enroll my dog? Your dog must meet our requirements. You and your dog should come for an interview, a tour of the facility, meet the staff and then you can fill out the paperwork.

    Do you have altercations between dogs? All dogs are temper tested. But just because they have been tested that doesn't mean that there won't be possible confrontations. Once in a while there will be cuts and bites that occur during rough play.

    Do you require proof of vaccinations? A Dogs DayPlayhouse requires written proof of current vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian. We alo require flea and heartworm prevention.

    What if my dog gets sick or hurt at daycare? Our goal at A Dogs Day Playhouse is to provide a safe and healthy enviroment. There may be a situation beyond our control that could result in injury to a dog. We make sure that the dog receives the proper and appropriate care at Golf Rose Animal Hospital.

    What happens if my dog becomes sick? If your dog becames sick while under our care, the dog is carefully monitored. If the dog requires medical attention, he will be taken to Golf Rose Animal Hospital.
